Caterpillar Sticker Series 2, 2021

15 Stickers; all 5.5 inches x 4.25 inches; made using: Sharpies, Tombow markers, Acrylic Gouache, and Different Kinds of Paper and Adhesive

I created 15 stickers of caterpillars getting involved in different situations that are ultimately humorous for the caterpillars to be doing. My caterpillars met various different animals along the way. Making these stickers was/are important to me because I constantly lose sight of what is real and what is a dream. Nothing is complete fantasy, because so many ideas are just a manipulation of reality. I originally started making these stickers to tag in the city of Chicago to help me release the stress that I was dealing with at the moment. Although due to the higher quality of these works I will not be placing these outside. I experimented with different materials throughout this project and depicted different fantastical land of caterpillars that have their own struggles and humorous ways of dealing with them.
